Being Gorgeous - Beautiful Nails

It is every woman’s wish to impress with her presence. Impeccably polished nails immediately attest of our beauty. An effective Manicure and Pedicure takes care of the nails, hands and feet, which is essential for our overall appearance. Nail treatment also involves regular procedures such as cleansing, cream and oil treatments, skin massage and nail baths. There are various types of manicure and pedicure to create beautiful nails.

The purpose of a Regular Manicure and Pedicure is to clean, strengthen, shape and make the nails attractive. First, old nail polish is removed with a nail polish remover. Then the nails are shaped and filed with a nail file. The nail is shaped to conform to the shape of the finger. Then it is time for a nail bath where the nails are soaked in soapy lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes. Lemon juice, vegetable oil and tea tree oil are added to the bath to soften dry skin and rough cuticles. An extra-mild cuticle remover can be applied instead of a bath. When the hands are dried the cuticles are pushed back with a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick. After that the nails are massaged with a hand lotion. Before putting on the nail polish, a base coat is applied.

The nail polish is best applied in 3 strokes, one in the center and two on the side. A top coat is applied over the nail polish to complete the treatment. French Manicure and Pedicure is one of the most popular types. It follows the regular procedure and then a nude or natural color is applied upon the nail with a white color on the tip of the nails. The shape of the nail is squarer than the conventional round. It is then covered with varnish. This makes the nails look clean, shiny and attractive. Wax Manicure and Pedicure is a great stress relieving procedure. It involves soaking your nails in slightly warm paraffin wax. Then wrapping the stained hands in a towel and letting the nails moisturize for 15 minutes prior to applying the regular treatment on your nails.
